Cases in Tulu and Kannada
In Kannada grammar the cases are named as Vibhakthigalu (In Kannada ವಿಭಕ್ತಿಗಳು). Traditional grammarians recognize 8 cases. They are Nominative, Accusative, Instrumental, Dative, Ablative, Genitive, Locative and Vocative. There are syntactic relationships such as Sociative in addition to the above 8 cases.
